KLOS St. Jude Rocks

Over the last four years, Southern California’s Rock Station, 95.5 KLOS, Meruelo Media sister stations and St. Jude Children’s Hospital® have hosted a two-day St. Jude Rocks Radiothon to help end childhood cancer. In 2021, with the participation of rock celebrities and bands like Gene Simmons, Metallica, Dirty Honey and Daughtry our stations rallied to raise more than $880,000. KLOS Blood Drive

In 1981, KLOS organized its first American Red Cross Blood drive at Los Angeles High School, collecting 250 pints of blood. 40 years later, the KLOS Blood Drive has grown from a single-site, single-day event to a multi-site, multi-day event, making it the single largest media-sponsored blood drive in the country. Over our 40 years of Blood Drives, KLOS has collected nearly 200,000 total pints of blood which has helped aid nearly 600,000 people in need of blood and blood products to survive accidents, heart transplants, premature births, and many other ailments. This summer, Southern California’s Classic Rock and the American Red Cross are looking to make and break records for the most blood collected, and only with your help, we can do it!
